Support

Help for Zenfeed users.

Zenfeed is a local Chrome extension for LinkedIn feed pages and X/twitter.com home timelines, active right after install, plus YouTube's Home, Subscriptions, and Search pages once you turn YouTube filtering on in the popup. This page explains the supported surfaces, common fixes, and what to include when reporting a problem.

Supported surfaces

Zenfeed does not claim full support for LinkedIn jobs, LinkedIn search, LinkedIn profile pages, X search, X profile pages, single-post pages, or any YouTube page other than Home, Subscriptions, and Search (a video's watch page or a channel page is not supported).

Before reporting a bug

  1. Open chrome://extensions and confirm Zenfeed is enabled.
  2. Click the reload icon on the Zenfeed extension card after updating the extension.
  3. Refresh the LinkedIn feed, X home timeline, or YouTube tab.
  4. Open the Zenfeed toolbar popup and confirm the relevant filter is enabled.
  5. On YouTube: check that Turn on YouTube filtering is on under Sites in the popup. YouTube access is off by default and nothing is filtered there until you turn it on — this is the most common reason YouTube looks untouched while LinkedIn and X work.
  6. If a collapsed item is a false positive, click show on the restore bar.

Common questions

Does Zenfeed send my feed to a server?

No. Filtering runs locally in Chrome. Zenfeed has no backend, analytics, tracking pixel, cloud AI, or feed export.

Why did Zenfeed miss a promoted or suggested post?

LinkedIn and X change labels and page markup over time. Reports are most useful when they include the supported site, the filter that should have matched, and whether the missed item was on the feed/home surface.

Can I undo a hidden item?

In collapse mode, use the show button on the restore bar. You can also turn off a filter in the popup to restore matching items.
