Why someone might choose Zenfeed
Zenfeed covers LinkedIn, which SocialFocus doesn't touch at all, and adds two things SocialFocus doesn't offer: AI-content detection through Rest from AI and custom keyword blocking. Zenfeed is also fully free with no in-app purchases.
Why someone might still want SocialFocus
SocialFocus reaches more platforms overall — YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and Reddit — and goes deeper on granular, per-platform hiding: recommended videos, Shorts, comments, sidebars, stories, and reels, with password-protected settings, import/export preferences, light/dark themes, and optional daily usage limits per site. It has a larger install base too (40,000 users, 4.6★ across 187 ratings) and works on both desktop and mobile web.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between SocialFocus and Zenfeed for blocking AI content?
SocialFocus doesn't detect AI-generated content at all — it has no AI-related feature. Zenfeed's Rest from AI hides posts matching AI-related keywords and phrases for a set time (15, 30, 60 minutes, or a custom duration), then restores them automatically. It's a keyword sweep, not a perfect detector, since it reads text, not images. Of the two, only Zenfeed offers it.
Does SocialFocus work on LinkedIn?
No. SocialFocus covers YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and Reddit, but not LinkedIn. Zenfeed doesn't cover Facebook, Instagram, or Reddit, but it does cover LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, and adds custom keyword blocking and Rest from AI, which SocialFocus lacks. If your feed problem is on LinkedIn specifically, Zenfeed is the one built for it — SocialFocus won't help there at all.
